OYO Instruments, Europe Ltd, have signed an exclusive Reseller Agreement with SERICOL Limited for SERICOL to distribute OYO's new ThermoImpression film products in the United Kingdom.

OYO's new GSP and XP ThermoImpression Film products have been specifically designed with the characteristics of the OYO thermal head technology in mind, to boost head life by an estimated factor 2-3 times versus other 3rd party film products. As a result OYO have launched a new warranty program called 'Premium Plus' which offers existing users of OYO's ThermoImpression Imagesetter technology a unique 'pay as you go' open ended warranty program. 

Premium Plus is available to all OYO's OEM customers as well as including all Autotype ASPECT and Agfa Freeway system customers. By paying a small premium on the price of the film, existing users can benefit from an ongoing parts and labour warranty with OYO Europe, after the initial 12 months factory warranty period has expired.

Both standard and Premium Plus OYO film products will now be available to all U.K customers through SERICOL Limited. SERICOL's extensive regional distribution network will enable same day film delivery to U.K customers in most cases.

OYO Instruments design and manufacture a range of Thermal Imagesetter products, using its patented ThermoImpression head technology, for the commercial graphics industry worldwide. The Thermal head system used by OYO offers a unique approach to Film Imaging that produces high quality film separations, with near perfect registration to within 0.01%, suitable for all Screen Printing and Signage applications, directly from digital files, without any chemicals. The system is very cheap to use, being typically 10% or so of the cost of acquiring film separations from a service bureau and with none of the operator costs and waste disposal costs associated with conventional imagesetting solutions.
